I have over 20 years’ professional experience as a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. Working in psychiatric hospitals, NHS services and Employment Assistance Programs offered by employers to their staff. I currently work with a variety of individuals, couples and groups for sessions at my offices in Beaconsfield and High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire.

I treat a huge variety of people who are struggling with focus, challenges or personal problems. I draw on Gestalt Psychotherapy practices, which allows for a real collaborative approach for my clients and I to work together effectively, to expand on what we already know and to get a really deep understanding of the issues faced. This can involve working on your self-awareness, behaviours and habits (and then improving them where you can to benefit you) or on your relationships with other people.

I commonly work with clients who suffer from anxiety disorders and depression, as well as physical illnesses such as chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, ME and chronic pain. I also work with people who are grieving a loss, who need help with a work or personal problem, who are looking for career growth or personal development, or who are currently experiencing relationship difficulties. Whatever your background, age, gender, orientation or experience, I’d be glad to work with you.

When you first get in touch, we’ll set up an initial meeting to get to know each other and understand why you’d like to give therapy a go. If both parties are happy and we feel that we can work together, we can set a course of action and book in sessions to get started and help you as soon as possible. Again, this is really about doing what’s right for you: some clients like to see me for an hour a week, but you may need more or less attention, or you may prefer something short-term. If you feel uncomfortable talking on your own, I also run small group therapy sessions for those experiencing similar issues; and you may find this an easier way in which to work.
